All praise is due to Allah SWT, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate, for His endless blessings and guidance upon us all. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad SAW, his family, companions, and followers until the end of time.
The Master’s Program in English Language Education (Tadris Bahasa Inggris), Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, was established to answer the growing need for improving the quality of English education in Indonesia, particularly in madrasahs, schools, and higher education institutions. This program is designed to nurture professional educators, researchers, and practitioners of English language education who embody Islamic values and are able to compete both nationally and internationally.
Through a curriculum oriented towards the development of academic, pedagogical, and research competencies, we are committed to providing the best learning experience for our students. Furthermore, we continuously strengthen academic collaborations with various institutions at the national and international levels to broaden students’ perspectives and skills in facing global challenges.
We believe that the success of this program relies on the synergy among lecturers, students, alumni, and institutional partners. Therefore, we invite all academic stakeholders to work together in building an academic tradition that is excellent, innovative, and competitive, while upholding Islamic values and local wisdom.
Finally, we extend our deepest gratitude for the trust and support given to us. May the Master’s Program in English Language Education (Tadris Bahasa Inggris) at UIN Sjech M.
